Are the headlight retainer rings for a 70 satellite/gtx..etc crossable to say a gm car?

Having a hard time finding good rings for my car

You might try it. It's not uncommon to have one supplier supply components for the big three, especially bolts and trim hardware. Also you may notice a lot of the steering column parts look alike and I think that's because they are sourced from one company. I took a steering column bearing out of a 60's Ford and put it in my 60's MoPar. Parts are where you find them.
