Headliner bow question

Does the RM23 hardtop (1969) have the same # of bows as the 69 RM21 post cars

I believe so... (But someone correct me if I'm wrong)
but the biggest diff between the coupe/HT was the post (coupe) and rear windows (coupe had flip open windows, HT's rolled down), but that's all I can recall, so I believe they both used the same number of headliner bows.

So 6 is right for both? I don't remember if the companys that sell head liners are stating a difference. The reason I ask is I bought a RM21 project, and it has 5 bows with it. My hardtop has 6 in it. So if I am missing one, how do I figure out which one is missing?

You should have 6,
if the headliner is already out (which I'm assuming it is), install the bows (without the headliner) it should give you a ballpark idea on which one you need by length, fit etc.By the way...I hate you:grin:

they're my favorite body style of the RR's, GTX's etc.

Yes they have 6 bows also and get wider as they go back from the front. I have them documented and as i remember at least 2 of them are the same width. If you need one let me know i have some singles maybe i have the one you need
