I have a white belvedere 64 with red interior, in what color should the headliner be from the factory?
I've seen both red and white headliners with red interior.
Thanks!

I think red goes with the red seats and likely dash etc....

Red interior gave you a white headliner.

'63......white..

Been surfing the web and I see both colors, is there a way to find out witch color is correct?
Thanks for all the inputs soo far:hello2:

This site is very useful. You said it was Red. My guess is your paint code is "W"=White. The red interior used was "M1R". Cross referencing that in my, 4" thick, 1964 parts catalogue; It shows 7146 VW2 for the headliner in the Hardtop and 7130 VW2 in the Sedan. The "W" stands for white. Like Sonny's.

Keep in mind it was the wild west in the '60s and your car could have had a red headliner. If it was a big dealer or someone knew someone at Plymouth or the factory ran out of White headliner material. Unless you have the build sheet you'll never know for sure. Like 68Chicken said; "pick one."

Hope this helps and Good Luck!
