Headliner cover clip install tips

Any tips on how these go in? Broke 3 already

from my experience insert a screw driver in the slot to close up the outward facing tangs on the bottom. Insert the tangs in roof hole and then pinch with pliers to lock in place.

Any other tips. These things wont install any way i try. Already broke 16 and counting. Cant afford to buy anymore

Drilled a hole in them n used tiny screws. Worked perfect!

I must have gotten some from the same batch as you. Apparently the new repops are junk. I ended up screwing most of mine in also.

I used my originals and had no problems installing. I just bent the tang in a little bit, installed them in the hole and bent the tangs back out with a pair of pliers.
