Heater/AC Control Rebuild

Hi Everyone,

I have a 1969 Dodge Super Bee with factory AC.

Does anyone know of anyone who rebuilds the heater/ac controls for these cars? Mine worked great when I built the car, but is getting a little sketchy now. The fan sometimes has a mind of it's own so I'm kind of leaning toward the controls might be the issue. Any input is welcome on this subject.

Get a can of DeOxIt and flush out the fan switch with a few good sprays. Might be all that is needed. From memory that is a slide switch with sides exposed, so cleaning should be easy.

I use DeOxIt like windex in that Greek movie. Even fixed intermittent outdoor Christmas lights in front of the house last night.

.... and if that doesn't work, you can usually find good used fan switches in the $30-$50 range and it's pretty simple to swap one out, maybe a 1hr. job. I just did mine this summer.
