I am trying to remove the heater box from under my dash it doesn't work and would just like to get it out of the way so I can work under there. I have the nuts off the fire wall and thought this would loosen things up but, it is still solid as a rock with no movement. I can see a strap of some sort under the dash but, this I don't believe is whats hanging onto it so tight any ideas would be helpfull thanks. Lenny:icon_eyes:

You have to remove the blower motor also temperature cable too! Mark all the vacuum hoses as to where they go! DO NOT remove from the switch itself, the nipples will brake and then you'll have to get a new switch!!! You should be able to pull the heater out then it'll take some effort! Do you have the a console in the car. If so pull it for more room to drop the heater. Good luck!

Not sure how different your 65 is from my 70, but if it has a metal strap on the front with a nut, you'll need to remove that, and the cables, and it should come right out.

Mopar Steve nailed it, mine just fell out after removing everthing, but yes x2 on the vacuum lines..and console removal.
