Heater Control Knob Decals

Has any one installed these heater control decals? If so how did you install them. I bought them and am not sure how they will go on let alone look. http://www.performancecargraphics.com/Dash_Stuff/Switch_Labels/B-body_69-70_Heater.htm

I put mine on like tape stripes. A little soapy water so I could maneuver them around.

Maybe use a straightedge to line them up. I just eyeballed mine.

The 3 on the left are original, 4 on the right are decals.

Probably not the best pic. I put the decals on probably 10-12 years ago or so. I don’t remember how I put them on other than whatever the instructions said. Haven’t had any problems with the decals coming off. I was pleased with them.

The only thing worn out on mine was the FAN button. Not being embossed, I could not paint it like I did on all the other dash controls. I know this sounds a bit hokey, but I used a label maker. The letter size was a perfect match and almost impossible to tell that it is not original.
