Heater core replacement

I am going to replace the heater core in my 1967 GTX 440. I did a search on the site and found most of the info I need. What I would like to know is what else I will run into that will need to be replaced? Any tips on this procedure would be great Thanks

You can order complete heater box gaskets from DMT.

I would recommend glen ray recore for best fit on heater core. No need to stress box with expanding and shrinking core frame during normal cycle with a Chinese bad fitting one.

If you rebuild box make sure blower motor resistor wire coils don't get bent and aren't touching each other.
