Heater Loop Hose routing question?

I have a '69 Road Runner with factory A/C. I'm curious if the Heater Loop Hose is in the proper position? Should it run to the top right (as shown), or the bottom right? In addition, the heater hoses run as follows... Right hose runs to the front nipple on the engine. The left hose runs to the rear nipple.
