This relates to my 67 GTX with factory air.
Heat output (temperature) is fine at idle and low engine rpm speeds ,say below 2500 rpm. Once I'm at highway speeds and rpms are around 3000 or better the temp gets cool right away. Stop for a traffic light , you feel the air temp warms up right away.
Core is not clogged, the ranco valve was rebuilt by Joe Hudacek, new water pump, the bypass valve on heater core was replaced also.
Even though I have the factory service manual I wonder if I didn't place a vacuum hose on the wrong nipple? The diagrams at least to me are not definitive as to vacuum hose placement.
Any idea's?
