Hey B body lovers,
Just found this forum this morning and signed up immediately.

Ive had my 69 Coronet for about 3 years now.
Little about the car...
Originally a 225ci, 727, butterscotch, vinyl top car. (Havent deciphered the whole fender tag yet)
When I picked it up, had a 383, mildly built, eddy 750 on performer RPM, not sure of cam but it was bigger than needed (bad bog on low end), rebuilt 727 w/ shift kit, stock converter, 8 3/4 suregrip, 3.23 gears, 225's in front, 275's in rear. Body had crappy Y2 paint job. Rust in all the usual places (rear window channel, lower quaters, trunk floor)
Wasnt going to do much to it except drive it, but in the last year or so, Ive decide to tear it down and do a complete resto. Im going for an A12/M12 tribute. Just the look though....LOL.
As of today, Im in the middle of just about everything with this car. I guess I never learned how to do one thing at a time.
Im halfway done stripping down to bare metal and scraping the underside. Fenders and doors are off. Halfway done gutting it, motor and tranny out, but interior still in. Front suspension ripped apart as I was going to replace bushings, etc. and go with a disc brake swap.
Halfway done building a 451 stroker.
As you can see, Ive got alot of work ahead. LOL.
Fwiw, I have almost everything I need. I just have to get it done.

Will end up with 451 stroker, 6 pack setup, rebuilt 727, 2600-2800 stall converter, 8 3/4 rear (3.23), six pack lift off fiberglass hood. black steelies, black vinyl top, and 95% sure I want to go F6.

Im going to need some help along the way. I have alot of questions and concerns due to this being my first serious teardown project.

I want to say thanks in advance to all those who help me with this resto.
Also, thanks for having me B body forums!
Sorry no pics, but I can take some if needed.

Welcome from your Neighbor to the north......Would love to see some pic's of your project if you get a chance. Glad to have ya!

Welcome! Sounds like a great project. 451 will be cool.

Well, I guess I need to add a pic.
Its not a good one....but you get the point.
BTW, I HAD the doors off, but put them back on for some reason....forgot why.

My brother (Craig Dayton) lives in Belvedere and is a member of the Mopar club, I think it is the North Chicago Mopar Club. Whichever one it is they put on the Mopar Happening event.
