HELP engine decoding

i read the numbers on a chrysler big block today. i read the numbers off the side of the block. and i could not find them in my manual. the numbers read
2468130-1 LL any help will be greatly appreciated.

My book shows it to be a 383, 1959 to 1971. Hope that helps.

Your 2468130 is your block casting # here should also be a date casted on your block in raised letters just like your casting # are, also up by your distributor should be some #s stamped there ( example E 383 and some more #s) , also look on left side of distributor rear of water pump, there is a flat pad that should be stamped. these letters and #s will tell you build date of motor, what size motor and other info .If you find these #s post them. Look under right side of distributor also.
