Help me with wiper linkage layout please

We’re replacing wiper linkage bushings on a 74 Charger. We have the linkage in place between the two wiper pivots. But did we do it right? Or should that connecting linkage be on the top, circled in white, on the driver’s side. Said another way does the linkage coming from the wiper motor go on the upward facing pin or the downward facing pin. The picture is of the driver’s side pivot.

Pretty sure things become obvious once the pivots and motor are bolted in place.

Let me see if I can help with some photos. I replaced the bushings on the linkage on my 74 Charger and took before photos and the photos with it on the floor. I hope these help. I may have to split them up.
