Voting Help Needed!!! 2011 Classic Car Calendar Competition

Hey Everyone, I need your Help!!!

I submitted a picture of our 1969 RoadRunner to the Dwyer & Michaels Budweiser Classic Car Calendar and it was selected as one of the top 50 cars. They are now voting on the top 12 which will make the calendar. Once the top 12 are picked they will do a professional photoshoot of each car. There are a lot of nice cars in the group, so the competition is very tough.

Please head to www.2dorks.com and vote for car #38, voting ends 8/15/10. Thanks for the help. Hopefully we can get some of these nice Mopars into the calendar.

Our car is a 1969 RoadRunner, originally a 383 4-speed car that has been in our family since 1973. Current engine combo is a 472" wedge motor with edelbrock heads with the 4-speed and a set of 3.23 gears to make it a good cruiser.

Wedge,

I'm not trying to be an *** or anything but honestly I don't really like the concept of doing that for you. A guy's got to take into accord the other car owners that put blood, sweat, and tears to get to the same point your at, even if they happen to be a GM or Ford. I'll go on there and vote, but i'm gonna take a fair look at everyone's ride.

Good Luck!

Just trying to get as many Mopar Fans as possible to go to the website and cast votes. There are several very nice cars on this list and my chances of getting our car into the calendar are probably pretty slim, even though our RoadRunner is a very nice car. I do appreciate everyone going, taking a look and casting their vote.

Oh come on Prop, you know you would vote for the mopars anyway. Sheesh!

LOL....Yes, sure do love the mopars, but I still have to give some kudo's to the other guys with GM's and Ford's. Like I said...I really was not trying to sound like a jerk (last intention I had), but after owning and putting these cars back together and the love/work involved to do so, the least I could do is take a look at all the other cars involved that take the same effort and drive to put on the road. To be fair

I did vote for your 69' by the way. You really do have a beauty there.

Good luck!

Thanks for the vote Prop

My personal favorite non Mopar in this group is the red 65 Mustang Fastback, the owner is a good friend and the car is just awesome. It has a late model Cobra motor with a turbo and a 5-speed. Gonna be tough beating him.

Voting ends 8/15/10. Thanks again for all the help.

Today is the final day to vote!! If you have not voted, please click on the link above and place a vote for our 69 RoadRunner. Thanks again to all who have voted, it is greatly appreciated.

Just wanted to say Thanks to anyone who voted for the RoadRunner in the calendar contest.

I just got word that we made the final cut for the 2011 Calendar!!

Thanks Again!!!!

Last Saturday was the Budweiser Calendar Photoshoot. Unfortunately no cameras were allowed inside so I was unable to get any cool behind the scenes footage but I was able to snap some pics outside before the shoot. Here are a couple of the shots I was able to get as we were waiting our turn to head inside.

The professional shots inside with the model definitely looked awesome and I can't wait to see the finished product.

Beautiful.........and congrat's!! Can't wait to see the shots with the model as well..:weg:
