Hey guys, I am putting my seats back together after being apart for over 3 years and cannot remember what they look like, are they chrome, painted or natural color on my 69 project? these are the bolts that attach the top part to the lower part of the seat. Thanks for your help on this. best wishes !:blob1:

Hey Thanks Red Runner

Yes those be the ones! Now I know why nobody is responding to my request:sign13: they are covered with that black plastic cover, if its not too much trouble that would be awesome , have had my car apart for over 3 years and it did not have the covers on when I bought the car,one more thing I need to buy I guess, is the cover on both sides or just by the door? thanks so much!
Love your car very , very nice, one more question did you put new seat cover backs on your car and if so how did you attach them, I have the new covers but they are just basically flat cardboard with a vynal covering??? any thoughts? I thought I might use velcro? thanks again CD

Here ya go Clay,
pix of the seat bolt. There are covers on both sides of the seats. As for the seat backs, there should be 4 clips on the inside that hook onto the seat frame work by pushing in and sliding up the seat back cover at the same time. Then there are 2 screws that go in from the bottom to hold the cover up.
Here are some pix of the seat back for reference.

The hooks grab the "L" shape bar on the bottom corners and the little "U" shaped bump-outs on the top.

There is a seller on ebay that has these in molded plastic. The metal clips are not secured in the "cardboard" cover very well...If mine give me any problems in the future, I will give the plastic ones a try. He has them for $89/pair.
Here is the ebay item # 250905273853 for the seat backs.....take a look, you can see the clips there too.

Thank You so much Red Runner!

I really appreciate your taking the time to do this for me. Now I know how this is suppose to look and what I am missing on my car. I couldnt have done this without seeing your pix, again I thank you for your kindness with your time and your knowledge! Best wishes! :hello2: DD Clay Dots
