I have a 73 satellite gas gauge pegs to full when the key is turned on and the temp gauge isn't working. It's a rallye dash. I thought the voltage limiter might be bad but after thinking it over if the limiter was bad the fuel gauge wouldn't do anything (right or wrong )? Could it just be my sending unit in the tank ? Also I have no brake lights. And my turn signals are super slow and sometimes don't work at all. I do have tail lights though. Maybe turn signal switch. I'm not sure. There is also what looks like a small electric condenser with and black wire coming from it that was laying un hooked on the back side of my instrument cluster on the side of the fuel and temp gauge. Can anyone tell me what this thing is and possibly where it goes. Thanks in advance for all your help.
