Help removing propshaft from diff

Hi, I am trying to remove the proshaft from the diff as I am removing the motor and transmission shortly (with the propshaft attached to the transmission).
Car is a 66 Satellite with a 318 Poly / 727, not sure what axle. I can't see how it comes out, and have removed the 4 bolts from the 2 brackets that hold the Cross in place, but how does the prop come out ( I need it to slide forward half inch and it will drop out). Is there a better way to remove it?
I've attached a picture to show where I'm at.

Big screw driver between the U-joint and the rear axle yoke. It's just stuck. Careful as the U-joint caps may pop off. If they hit the floor the needle bearings can go everywhere.

Slip yoke goes forward, shaft drops then pull out the slip yoke.
Done.
