Help: SB & BB Water Pump Pulley's Same?

Tom at Evans suggested I switch water pump pulleys on my 440 from current 6-3/8 diameter to smaller diameter to increase flow. The only H2O pulleys I can find under 6" are for small blocks. Are they interchangable?

The bolt pattern is the same,the backspacing may be different.Different size spacers are also available.I ended up with a few washers under the pulley for perfect alignment.
