Help with a 1970 Fender Decode

Can someone decode my fender tag, I always get something wrong and I wanted to know the production date.... Many Thanks

March 12th 1970, black vinyl buckets with charcoal inserts and silver welting/piping
440 6 barrel

As was stated in post #2, March 12. The 312 on the second row from the bottom is the date: 3 = March and 12 = 12th day.

The actual production date may or may not be March 12th of 1970.... The date is the scheduled production date.... The actual production date could vary quite a bit....

is anyone using the new reproduction big block exhaust manifolds, and are they same quality as the originals?
