The oil sending unit from my '70 440 block doesn't thread into the hole in the block of my mid-70s 440 block that's been stroked.

Does anyone make an adapter so I can use my existing sending unit? Or will the correct sending unit for the newer 440 (threaded part is larger and threads are wider apart) work with the oil gauge in my '69 Coronet SB?

Thanks for the help.

The threads are standard NPT. You either dealing with a 1/8-27 or 1/4-18 pipe thread and if you have the smaller 1/8" sender you cab just get a pipe bushing at the hardware store and put it together.
