Hi, I have a 66 Hemi I a Satellite and have what I think is an extra line on the engine pad. Anyone with an idea?

First line/ BH 426
Second line/ FA25613 The F could be a P, and the 6 could be an 8
Third line/ 4 2 2

Second line has been added later.

First line:
B=1966
H=Hemi
426=cubic inches
Third line: April 2nd second engine built that day
Hope that was correct

I believe it would be April 22 build date. The 10.000 day calendar and number of engines built that day started in model year 1968, and that Info. was stamped on the pan rail, not the pad on the top.

Agreed

The pair of 2's after the 4 have a space between them so does it mean April 2 second shift?

I've never heard that. And they probably didn't build them on the second shift. I've always been told it was the number of the engine built that day.

note: the last line 4 2 2 is spaced evenly apart, I mean the 4 is at the left edge, the first 2 is in the middle, and the last 2 at the right edge. Oil pan rail is stamped 3-27-66
