Love the Whale engines! Many eons ago I was walking the field at a Long Island NY car show and a fellow had stuffed a 354 or 392 (I don't recall) into a '67-'69 Dart. Two non-Mopar types were walking the other direction and as we passed I heard one tell the other "Yep, my old man had one just like that". Your proposed build just took me back. Speaking of Big Daddy, here is my screen saver...

I had a 48 Anglia that I out an old alcohol dragster 392 in. Had a Reath stroker crank, howards aluminum rods and custom pistons. Was 472 cubes, had heads ported by lockerman's porting service and a howards custom roller cam. Donovan gear drive and a 6-71 blower with a cragar drive. Had to use 2 coolant lift pumps off of city transit busses so I had water circulation so I could drive it. Was more than a blast to drive. I was 22 and it was the coolest car out of my geoup I ran with. Loved this car. Flood took it out unfortunately. Sold the engine off to a guy that put it into a 3 window 32 ford. Anglia body got sold and I cannot recall who I sold it to.
Good luck with your build.
