hemi radiator

hello all
Is there a difference with radiators from a big block 383 b body RR and a 426 hemi inlet and outlet hose orientation. Presently my 383 both in and out are towards the driver's side of rad. Also want to go from 22inch to 26 inch with clutch fan.
any help would be appreciated.

LOL.. shat happens! Like I said we can't help him without a car year. 70 and if he wants to go 26" is the same for 383/440 and Hemi. A 956 radiator..

As for the work involved to go from 22" to 26", a GOOD 22", with a fixed 7 blade fan, should cool a street Hemi just fine....

So is it practical to open a 22” radiator support up to accept a 26” radiator? The last Mopar 22” radiator car I owned was over 50 years ago.

I bought a set of brackets from Glen-ray to mount a 26" on a 22" core support, not cheap but beautifully made:

Glen-ray Radiators - All New Licensed Mopar Chrysler Dodge Plymouth Radiators

doesn't increase the opening, but they said that wasn't a big deal given the 26" radiator provides extra cooling capacity anyway.

i did not state sorry 1969 RR present 383 in car want to go 426 hemi are the inlet and outlet the same as the 383 motor radiator configuration thanks

You can always use a late water pump housing.

I like your method to check for leaks, but how much PSI can those things hold?

Also, why do you have them, aren’t you beyond the age of having to worry about getting the missus pregnant?

FWIW, a 26" fits between the rails on my Abody. A little hangover on the core support. No issue for me.
