todays dilemma is, the horn workings for my Javelin. i need all the guts and i THINK GM parts will work. i have been all over ebay for the past 4 months and i cant find what i need.....OR....i found it and I didnt know i needed it. try followin me here...........
i think GM parts will work,BUT, being that theres nothing in my steering column to compare parts to, im not exactly sure what goes in there......did i confuzzle ya yet ?? apparently some yo-yo took them out. my neighbor has a complete 72 javelin in his junkyard right across the street, and he wants to sell me the whole damn car thats been under water for 2 years and WONT let me in the column just to see what i need.i dont need the whole car, i just need some parts and he aint budgin' .
any gurus out there that know whats in a 1972 GM steering column that makes the horn work ?
the horn blows if i ground out the hot wire, so i know its good up to the column. i need the parts INSIDE the column to the switch. there has to be some kind of isolator,plunger,spring,rotator. HELL I DUNNO,,,,ITS GM THANX.:hello2:
