Hey all...I really thought I had already set up and account on here...I do have one on the A body and C body and E body forum, under the same user name.
SO anyways, I am looking to buy an old MOPAR. I currently drive a 2013 Charger, and it has re-kindled my love for cars, and especially MOPAR's.
I used to have a 69 Dart 2dr Hardtop 318 2bbl in the late 80's, I loved that car, wish I never had sold it. My first car ever was a 73 or 74 Dart swinger 4 door slant 6 car that I got when I was 16 in 1982, can't remember the exact year, I loved that car too and have fond memories of it from my teenage years, it had a nice big backseat!! Great for the drive in's:D
So, I am hear to learn, gather info and do some research, as I save my money. I want to buy a driver in about 12-18 months I should have a nice chunk of dough, maybe 10k or so,and I want one that has all the hard work done, like the drivetrain/engine being rebuilt, inside basically done, straight body, maybe even needing paint, some little things I can do, but I don't have a garage and all the tools to do allot, living in an apartment sucks for that kind of thing.
My first choice is an A body, but I am not ruling out the B and C or E bodies either!
Thanks for having me,
Mike

Welcome from Maine! Sounds like a great plan!

Welcome from San Jose. Fall Fling, Van Nuys. About 50 miles from you. Saturday, October 25, 2014. See you there?

I've heard of the fall fling. ..can any age mopar come? I went to spring fest 9 in Irvine this past March and displayed my '13 charger. That was a good time. I'd love to go!

CPW. Chrysler Performance West. Any Mopar. Modern Hemis and K cars too. The Friday before is the Malibu Cruise. Fall Fling is a scaled down version of Spring Fling but worth the ride. Host Hotel is the AirTel.

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome, I am glad to be here, and to learn as much as I can on my journey to my new to me OLD MOPAR lol

Welcome from riverside CA, spring fling is good been there twice now and they have all years there, car show plus swap meet, most sell cars in the swap meet area. Sweet ride, I have a 06 srt8 I just don't drive it any more. Fun car though

Welcome. Good luck with your search.
I see you are in Tustin. Me too. Hope to see you around town in that nice Charger.

Yes, I am definitely thinking I want to go to the Fall fling sounds like a good time. Can you just go as a spectator? I mean, I wouldn't' mind exhibiting my car, It got allot of looks at Spring Fest, being a V-6, you don't see many there, mostly the HEMI's.

Very cool! Look for me cruising west down 4th st towards Santa Ana in the mornings, my wife works in the Xerox building there off the 5fwy, so I go to drop her off then lol, if you see me, give me a honk and a "hang ten" and I will know its you, my plate reads 3NVE MY6( means Envy my 6) and of course if you notice, I have the 3 and the 6...for my 3.6L! Then I head over to ORange to my job at FedEx Freight, I drive Semi's locally for them.

Oh yea you can go as a spectator. As long as it's a mopar they don't care, people show off there classic 6 cylinders so why not a new one lol.

Very cool, I am planning to go!! Thanks for the info! And it's funny, my car only has "300+HP" lol, maybe by todays standards, thats not allot, but it puts out more than some of those big old V-8's from back in the day!
