Sounds like you need a bigger garage:toothy6:Nice fleet and welcome aboard.:toothy6::toothy6:Tell us more about the '63,I have a soft spot for 63's:blob1:

The 63 is my grunt of the family. 477 cubic inch aftermarket block, aluminum rod, indy head motor that made 747 hp on pump gas on the dyno. My father rescued the car from a field, i built it to run heads up racing events, then life hit, got a fiance, and a house (next door to my parents :headbang:). The car is absoulutely a beast, 4" exhaust, dana, full cage, nitrous, and a tranny brake. I have only sprayed the car on a 100 shot of NOS and it went 10.14 @ 146 at the 2007 Hot Rod pump gas drags. (and it weighs 3995 lbs with me in it). Haven't even turned on the second stage of NOS yet. I didn't spare anything on this one, i put every piece of chrome and all the factory interior back in the car. I wanted a 63 polara 500 street car, not a all out race look car. Car is fun to drive and resides at local car shows. I've always been a 69-70 guy, with having had a 70 speeder runner and a 70 superbee, but i learned alot with this ol beast, and have come to respect the olders much more. Whats cool is, my mother has a 62 polara 500, amazing how much the cars changed from one year to another back in the early 60's.

I'm sure it pulls a crowd when you pull into the hot rod hangouts:headbang:
It ain't easy going fast with that kinda weight. My junk tips the scales at 3850 with my fat *** in the car:laughing1:

So you understand the weight. At the pump gas drags, we had to go through the strict rules. When it came time to put it on the scales before qualifying, the guy on the scale said to me, "your car weighs 3995lbs, you know the minimum is 3500 right?" I said "yeah i know" he replied with, "well good luck getting this elephant to run with the zebras" :D

Thanks for the warm welcomes! Nice to get back into the mopar scene, nothing beats a bunch of moparheads!

Ya have have have an elephant to be an elephant, but either way,to go that fast on pump gas is a wonderfull thing.Power adders are a GREAT thing,I have become a boost junkie:toothy6::toothy6:

Back when i was racing, turbos and superchargers were very few, everyone was on drugs... and their car were too hahaha seems nowadays i see everyone is using a turbo, kinda cool to see how the scene morphis' into something different.

I dig oldschool:icon_bounce:
