Good ground clearance!

Looks like what we called a 'straddle buggy' in the steel mill. A vehicle that could move over a long pallet and grasp it and pick it up and move it to another location....

That is an agricultural sprayer. Used to spray herbicide, pesticide, maybe fertilizer.
I had a late 80's Mazda wagon many years back. Teased my toddler son about doing what is implied here :)
We never did. It's a lot like the movies with the cars going under the semi trailer. Looks like it might be possible, but

YOU'LL NEVER KNOW TILL YOU TRY!! YEEHAW GUN IT!

Agreed. Used for spraying 'row 'crops...corn, milo (sorghum), etc., when the crops are a couple feet tall.

What the photo doesn't show are the 30' - 40' spray booms that are folded along side it.

That machine can cost $300K+ depending on its brand & features.

I'm sure those vehicles were adapted to lots of different things....

One of the hired hands drove one of the early commercial spraying rigs back before cabs. About 40 years before the Deere sprayer pictured above. When it would go through a ditch it would chuck him off the machine and he would have chase it down on foot and climb back on.Lol
Guess it was before seat belts.

I remember following the mosquito control truck on our bicycles........ those were the days

Every time I am on my motorcycle and I follow an empty vehicle hauler I think hit it you sissy.
