Holes in 65 dash?

Are these holes in the top of my 65 Coronet normal? As far as I know its not been messed with. IMG_3897.jpg
 
To remove the dash, remove the screws showing in the pic. drop the steering coulum.There will be a bolt on either side of the bottom of the dash on the a pillars that are slotted just loosen those, remove defrost hoses . Swing down and out. I disconnected all the switchs and wiring on mine also. No need to remove heater box.Just be careful of the hoses . Hope this helps
 
I've never seen a yellow 65 with a red dash!!! I'd say some one has replaced your dash at one time or another!

Must be the paint fading arround the windshield. Its really is white with red interior.IMG_3564.jpg
 
Hope you don't need a dash pad. I looked for one for 18 years before I found one this year at the Mopar Nats.
 
Just dashes in California can restore them, but they want your first born!
