Holes in 65 dash?

Are these holes in the top of my 65 Coronet normal? As far as I know its not been messed with.

dash pad holes. you can see the outline of the old pad.

To remove the dash, remove the screws showing in the pic. drop the steering coulum.There will be a bolt on either side of the bottom of the dash on the a pillars that are slotted just loosen those, remove defrost hoses . Swing down and out. I disconnected all the switchs and wiring on mine also. No need to remove heater box.Just be careful of the hoses . Hope this helps

I've never seen a yellow 65 with a red dash!!! I'd say some one has replaced your dash at one time or another!

Must be the paint fading arround the windshield. Its really is white with red interior.

Hope you don't need a dash pad. I looked for one for 18 years before I found one this year at the Mopar Nats.
