I bought an old dealer add on AC kit for an unknown car, and it came with crimp it yourself hoses.

While I was looking at them, the idea hit me to use some of the el cheapo stainless steel braided hose cover and see how it looks. Me, I like it, pretty proud of how it came out. Whadda you all think?

Very nice job....Make sure your ends are in the right position, can't place to much twist into the stainless steel braided hose....

Excellent,
I would run it on my car!
Send it over to me.
I'll PM ya w/ my address etc.

Pops, I had it on and off several times "clocking" the location of where the ends would be so I could run the lines just where I want them to run. THey are going to lay right with the heater hose lines for the most part, trying to keep the wholeinstalation neat.

Thanks for the good words guys

So many times did the steel braided pinch your hands.....

I used a small pipe cutter on my lokar braided hose for my shift cable ,it almost made a factory cut ,i was amazed .

Pops I discovered that I needed to wrap the braid with a cloth REAL fast. My hands ARE still cramping tho from trying to shove all the ends into the hose. REALLY tight fit and I was really starting to wonder if I was going to get them all the way into the hose.
