Hello to everyone I have been working on a mopar 383 rebuild for my 1969 roadrunner and decided to the six pack set up and have always liked the G T O tri carb. air filter set up, but mopar never had this kind of set up, so i cut out some carb spaces for the 383 and added 3 round air filters to give them that look, I hope to have the engine in the car and running maybe sometime nex year, Thanks for your looking.

I dont think that is going to fit under your hood
Yes I know, I have a six pack hood, and if not that, I have a spare hood, to cut out to let air filters stick out the top of hood, or just run it with no hood to show off the carbs and air cleaners.

I love home made stuff. I would probably try to figure out a way to center the center air cleaner if was me. I like the idea tho'

yes, i tried to do that, but as you can see the way the mopar outboards are set up to tighten down the hold down wing nuts i had to leave a little more gap to get my hand in to tighten the front outboard carb section down, if it was perfectly centered you cannot get your fingers in to tighten it up. Thanks, Tommy.

Went to a car show and met a guy with the exact same issue. To solve his, he made an upper and lower plate from 3/16 aluminum, cut holes for the carb throats, bought a 6pack air filter and sandwiched it in between. The three hold down bolts were there individually. He used a router to round the edges of the plates and polished the aluminum on a buffing wheel and when finished they looked fantastic. Never had to cut the hood at all and had tons of area for air flow.

I like the look and you'll like, the performance. You should have enough room to fit all that carburation under the hood with a six pack hood. Good luck

Thanks and yes i see how this guy made the air cleaner to cover all 3 carbs, but it does not give them the 1-2-3- duce look with 3 air cleaners as mine does and the G T O look to me looks more awsome, Thanks Tommy.

I had to make the box to mount the the 3 round air filters to the 3 triangle shaped holley six pack carbs, it would be great if somebody made the holley shaped mouth openings to fit round air cleaners so that it would not take the air box like this to fit them, Thanks.

Nice job, I remember me and my wife were at a cruise night and a guy with a gto tri power made his own air cleaner, it was pretty cool, all aluminum tubing from each carb went to a different are, the front carb went left and down to a conical KN filter near the front headlight, the center carb split into 2 and went down by the wheel well, and the rear went to the other headlight, I asked how long it took him and he said about 100 hours, it was a heck of a system, made the motor look like doc oct, but pretty cool, all polished up, he was a fabricator/engineer by trade, although it would be the first thing I pulled off the car if I ever bought it that way.... still fun to look at, who want to look under the hood and see the same ole 6 pack oval, yeah some have coyotes and some have checkered flags, I even seen one with a pair of t!ts and a smile {carlisle a few years ago in a duster}, but what you have in nice and a conversation starter... good job..

I love the red/black and the slot mags!!!

Thanks, by far the best comment today on my post, very good.
