Hood clearance

Hi!
Does anyone know if a Weiand Team G intake on a 400 BB will clear the hood on a 64 Plymouth without cutting a hole?

Don't know for sure! I don't think so if you're planning on running an air cleaner!

You'll really need to know the height difference between the Weiland and your existing manifold to be sure and it depends on weather your air cleaner housing is the "drop" type or not. Surely the specs are available on the web or just call them.

Weiand advertises the dimension heights as 4.69 inches front and 5.69 inches rear but they don't say where they are measuring from and to. Summit advertises the height as 5.19 inches. I guess they must be averaging the front to back.
