Hood insert screws correct?

Got these awhile back from fastenal. Didn't see any different head style. The threads are correct and fit but the bottoms don't sit down flat. Are these correct? And where do I get black ones or do I paint them?

These are for the engine callouts that mount in the inserts

Those are not the correct head, you might be able to turn the head down if you have access to a small hobby lathe? Another option is to call R/T specialties, I know he had the correct ones a few years ago. In order to get them black if you end up having to make them work is to bead blast them and have them parkerized. Or you can just take a sharpie to them for quick and easy black

anyone else buy the correct screws from somewhere and were you able to find them in black? I'll call R/T specialties monday and see what they say. I think I remember calling them last year and he wasn't stocking them anymore...
