hood lip screw size 70rr

anyone know what size screws you use for the hood lip chrome on a 70 b body #6 or #8? my hood is new with no holes

Mine (1970 Roadrunner w chrome hood lip) are closer to #6 than to #8 based on those sizes in modern screws. Did Chrysler use those terms rather than actual measured sizes? If so, #6 for sure...
