Here's the location on an A12 Bee. They'll go in the same place.

Here are a couple of pics from my survivor Superbee. This is a J45 coded car with hood pins. Note that the pins are rounded and not pointed like those on an A12. Also note that I use the "stand up" style clips, like you find on an A12, those aren't right, the right ones are the flat type, I just think these are easier to use and cooler.Survivor Bee with Pins.jpg

Here is another pic. You can also see where the wire is fastened with screws.

Hey, Kowal.

Is that a real battery or a battery replica cover? Either way, where did you buy it?

Thanks

thanks kowal!...i'd like to see more pix of that car...survivors are the most interesting cars to check out.

i wasn't sure witch pins i was going to use...i was leaning towards the stand up and for sure rounded pins.

The battery is one of the one's built as a solid gel unit inside. Mancini's.

I have had a couple of these on several cars, they work really well.

The car is a partially repainted car, meaning sometime years ago the sides were shot, the car was color matched along the top of the sides, then it was driven some more!

The hood, trunk lid, etc are all still original.

I am really enjoying having it, I have never had a car that was so complete with the right shields, hardware, etc. All, of course, loaded with 50,000 miles of grime.

I was thinking of getting my kids to help me set up a website so I can post detail shots. I have learned a ton from this car.

this is my survivor

it was parked in 1973 until i got it in 97.it sure hasn't came a long way...i guess it is a little rough to call a survivor.
