I vote for the green wheels up sat just above and the darker green sat with the all black hood I think are the same FG hoodscoop.

opinions

the last picture the green one:yes:

Think I'd have to go Air Grabber on a 72 Sat with a flat hood.

Easy to find
Easy to do
Relatively cheap
Factory
Functional
+10 cool factor.

2nd pic with the black hood- that scoop is awesome.

If i had to pick one, it would be the second one.. That being said the Road Runner hood that belongs to your car would be my first choice. JMHO

I like the third since ill be going with a hemi scoop on mine, currently I have the 6pack one just bolted on, steel hood.

bet it could be full manual for a lot less.

Keep the rain out, too.

The 2nd, 3rd and last pics show a hood and scoop that are pretty much the same just different color combos. Anyway that's my vote.

I'd paint the center section with the scoop black like the raised bubble on an air grabber model and the rest body color.

Noticed all the pictured cars were, or appeared to be, 71-2 models. Liked them all a bunch. On a personal basis I never did like the "bulge" hoods all that much. It appeared to be some sort of knee jerk we-gotta-have-one-too reaction to GM and Ford. The flat hoods with the 6-pac or hemi scoops are what appeal to me.

i agree...for some reason i think the 66-69 only look good with the 6pack hood all flat black. imho
the 71-72 having that sculpted center section looks good painted black w/ rest of the hood painted to match body

I love those 73/74 hoods. I wish one would fit on my Dakota.
I think it fits the lines of the truck.
It'd have to be 3/4 scale, though.

That's pretty bad-***. How much of a pain in the *** was it to do?

If im remembering right a 73-74 hood will fit on a 71-72, The front header panels are different so the ends that meet the header panel would be slightly raised some, i cant tell by this picture but right in front of the hood pins, i think that area would be just slightly raised because of the design of the hood, on the header panel on 73-74 they are raised up a tad so the hood and header match... Maybe someone else can give a better description of it, but im 90 percent sure they will fit as far as bolting it up, its just that area that is different. Ive been wrong before, we'll see.. Hope this helps if your thinking of it, i have seen one somewhere that had one on it, didn't look bad either. This my humble opinion :)
