Yes glass to glass.Hey bearman is that a fiberglass to fiberglass assembly?
I'll send some this weekend. The scoop has aluminum l brackets with 1/4 holes molded to the scoop.Show some pics of the scoop flange?
Hi bearman then you could bolt and epoxy the two together. The killer is stress fracture and just bolting together with supports might be a better way to go. If its too rigid it might crack. So I also wonder then if a thin rubber strip between the two pieces might be a good way to eliminate any stress?Yes glass to glass.
That's a good idea will try that rubber strip. They need to be a two piece from scoop to hood.Hi bearman then you could bolt and epoxy the two together. Bear, there are dimensions for them. Here's a post from back some time. If it's not in this, Larry at Sled City can get them to you...So I was out at the h.e.m.i. show and was looking at all different ways people mounted them. What got me curious was nobody puts them in the same spot. Looking at the rear of the hood and the rear of the scoop the measurements could be from one inch up to three inches. Is there a real measurements for this.
