Can anyone tell me if a normal 64 savoy hood will work over top a crossram intake or do you have to cut any of the bracing for the air cleaners to fit? Thanks in advance.
I have had no problem with the hood fitting. You have to make sure that your stud that comes out of the drivers side carb does not hit the bottom of the hood....puts a dimple in the hood. also make sure that your air cleaners are stock max wedge or the same height size as the max wedge..
Also make sure that you have a good/strong motor mount on the driver's side. I ran a chain from the motor mount to the frame on my '64 Max Wedge Belvedere as extra insurance.
