I just purchased a car with Hoosier slicks. Is this wear patteren normal and do I need to rotate? side to side?

That tire has been spinning.

I would say it's normal for a VERY hard leaving car, probably a stick shift. I had a similar pattern on the slicks on my car, when it was using a lenco. I agree with Doug, they've been spinning!
I would sure rotate em, if nothing else than to see what happens.

33IMP, You are right it's a 833 four speed. The rear end is a 8-3/4” Chrysler with a 489 case. It has 3.91 gears a spool and mosher 30 spline axles. The rear suspension is quarter elliptic.
