I installed a custom wood grain steering wheel on my 70 GTX onto the stock column and the horn blows constant. How can i get this to work properly? wheel came from classic ind.

the horn switch works by making up the ground side of the 12v system. So your grounding somewhere between the wheel and chassis ground. Some pics would go a
long way here especially of the back side of the wheel hub.

the back of hub is flat and rides on the button and must be making ground constantly. there are 2 spade connectors on back of button but i have no wires. i will send picks shortly when i get there

here is what i'm working with.

You don't have the horn circuit isolated from ground. That copper pin on the turn signal switch is for the horn. It should ride on a plate that is isolated from ground.

In this pic the adapter on the top right has that incorporated into it. Your wheel mount doesn't have that. The copper pin is spring loaded and you could damage the turn signal switch if you turn the wheel and it pops into the hole for the horn wire.
Look at the back of the old wheel to see what I'm talking about. You are also missing the tab that cancels the turn signal. I'll try to find better pics.

yes i'm getting a new one that stuff was missing and i blew it. thanks for the help
