Got to spend some time with Bill Braack and the United States Air Force jet car team. had the privilege to tag along and shot them at a few airshows.
This rail go's zero to 400 mph in just 9 seconds.drinking 40 gallons of diesel in just 1,800 ft.
engine is from a North American T-2A Buckeye making 10,000 HP/6,000 Pounds of thrust.bill experiences 4.5 positive G'S and 11 Negative G's when he pops the parachute. thought I'd share. It's snowing outside and I'm board LOL...

What a thrill it must be to pilot one of these!
I love when they kick the afterburner while creeping the start line. That thud you can FEEL is intoxicating.
Jet cars, Outlaw/Fuel Altered and Super Stock/Pro Stock. It doesn't really get much better than that.
