How big?

I'm thinking about going wider and maybe taller in the back and was wondering if anyone knew how big you could go on a 69' Satellite? I think i have 15" rims now, could i go 16 or 17"? maybe an inch or two wider? I'd like to mini tub it but the trunk is so nice and original i rather keep it stock. Anyways thanks,

If you like the more rim less rubber look then go with 17,s in the rear and 16,s in the front...Me I like more rubber!!It means you got more to burn!!!

I do like rubber I don't want to look like one of those idiots with 22" rims and .5" tread lol. Only reason i though of 17" is because my dads friend gave him brand new hoosier slicks that are sitting in the shed collecting dust but they're 17" Although i guess in the long run it'd cost more. I guess more then anything i was wondering how wide i could go. Since a car with wider rear tires means wider black lines behind it

A 15X8 with 4.5 backspacing with a 275/60 would fit with no problem.
I think a 15X10 with 5.5 BS and a 275/60 might fit also.

Yeah,leave the big rims to the guys that drive mustangs...If you do a spring perch relocation you,ll have more room for extra meats...This is on my list of things to do....It seems my list is just getting bigger not smaller!!!

10 inch wide will fit the rear of these cars.

on my 1st 69 superbee I had 15in m50's on the back with deep slots they fit great didn 't have to change anything
