HOW BOUT A DATE!

I'm pretty sure what I've got here is a 70/340 intake that came off the 72/340 in my 74 RR. Gott all that? I need help understanding the 6 12 R where the date code would be. I'm sure it's a date code but I can't find a cipher. Also is a casting number also a part#.

The casting number is correct for a 70 340 Not sure on the date code.
