They are usually barbed and you need to snap them in a little at a time straight down ( make sure all your slots on the car line up with the barbs on the felts ). My glass was out and they snapped in much easier with the glass out. Don't know if your glass is in. If it is. Lower your glass stops by unbolting them ( inside door panel will have to come off to do this ) and get your glass to go down as far down as you can out of the way. This will help get glass out of way and make them easier to snap in
