how do you know if your car came with seat belts 67 GTX

Hi I just started restoring my 67 GTX how do I find out if my car came with seat belts I was told it was an option this year is it on the fender tag thanks

for 67 the lap belts were in all cars, shoulder belts were optional, they're on the broadcast sheet IIRC

Yep, looks like lap belts were standard. Center lap belt and shoulder belts were options.

Due to legislation, all cars had at least lap belts after 1964 I believe, so yours will have them.

How about '66 Coronets, was it standard or optional to have lap belts and if equipped with bench seats, was there also a belt for middle seat passengers, front or rear?

I believe the wording states that for the front seat, a lap belt was required for each intended passenger so there would be a middle seat belt. But for the rear, belts weren't required standard equipment until 1968.
