How does the back seat back connect on my 68 Coronet?

I mini-tubbed my 68 Coronet and need to locate the hook that holds the bottom of the seat to the body. I know the orientation of the hook (the hook faces the door - see picture 1), but I don't know if the hook hooks in between the seat loop (picture 2) or hooks on the inside of the seat loop (picture 3). I'm guessing #3.
