Would love to see some examples of these with pics, consider this a challenge! If you all remember the "DOG" is/was a 4spd RM21 with a.c. and no power steering or power brakes!

Probably not too many of the original 68 RR's & 68 Super Bee's they were the entry level, affordable muscle cars for under $3000, that was the original concept anyway, that kind of defeats the purpose of buying a RR or Super Bee & adding "air conditioning" back then, it was almost as much as a 426ci Hemi option... Just my thoughts, I have no idea of production #'s, I'm on my 13th 68-71 RR's mostly 68's & 69's, I have only had 2 with A/C & a big block, both 70 & 71, I've had a bunch with autos, power brakes & power steering, I would think the A/C would be some what rare in a 68... But I don't know that for a fact...

I had a late built 68 RR with A/C, but power steering. Can't say I recall seeing one optioned out that way.

I almost bought a B5 or B7 with white interior, stripe delete 68 4 speed a/c Bee with white vinyl top a couple of years ago. Sure wish I had.

There's a 69 4 speed a/c Bee about 50 miles from me.

WAG....4-6% of RM21 or WM21 cars. Maybe 5-8% of RM HTs. The only total production figures of significance would be the RM21 cars as RM23 and WM21 would only be about 1/2 the year. Total production for RM23 and WM21 with A/C would have to be pretty low.

Yep, sure wish I had the build sheet, fender tag, #'s engine and tranny! But I don't so it's going non a.c. including the firewall. still would be interested to see some examples though.

There was a 68 RR on ebay last week that was a/c, manual steering.

My dad said that my 68 bee had air but took it out as it would run hot. I think it was aftermarket if I had to guess. Would my fender tag tell me?

Not sure if it would be on the tag or not but you would have a large diameter hole in the firewall adjacent to the heater hoses on an a.c. car.

Yes, it would be on the tag. Look for S/1. A/1 for the 26" radiator should also be there.
