How much does it cost (estimate)

Just wondering how much does it cost to have a block magnafluxed (if that's what it's called). When I bought my Satellite, the seller gave me a 383 engine with it. I took it apart with the intention of having it rebuilt and installed in my car but I'm going to keep the 318 and beef it up with the help of Gary P.'s knowledge. Anyway, the 383 block is just sitting there and I thought I might get some of the work done on it to (hopefully) have it rebuilt and installed in something I buy down the road.

It can vary by geographical location. I would call a couple machine shops in your area. They will each have a flat rate per block and per head.
