How rare is 71 ram charger hood

Can anyone tell me where to find out exactly how many of the ram charger hoods was made for the Chargers? I would like to know just how rare my hood is .They was only available in 71 and the specs I looked at said they only sold 362 R/Ts and Super Bees that had 440's or 440 six packs or Hemi's in 71 ( only 22 Hemi R/T's) Did they sell the R/Ts or Super Bees with smaller engines? I would like to find the exact number made but cant find this information . I first was thinking there must have only been 362 cars that year that possibly had that hood but then again I was thinking I might have seen these hoods over 383's online surfing . Can someone help me out with some info?

The Ramcharger hoods on Chargers were pretty scare. I've owned 2 Chargers with those hoods. 1 was a 71 383, 4-speed, the other was a 72 340, auto (on the column) car. I don't have the exact numbers for the N96 cars for those years, but it may answer your questions on the 383 and smaller engine cars... also they did produce them in 1972 as well.

Contacted AMD yesterday. Repro will possibly be made in about one year.

Chrysler did not keep records like that, so there is no source for that info. All you will be able to find out is how many are currently registered, and that will likely cost you.
