Well, I need help again! I am restoring a 1969 Road Runner (going on 7th year). I need help installing the auto adjusters on the 11 inch drum brakes that I want to keep on the front of my car. I working on the front brakes now. I have the auto adjuster kit. I just don't know how it fits with the other brake components. I need a picture of how a properly installed auto adjusted look on this type of brake (both front and rear) if anyone has them. I have a manual but the pic just does not show enough detail on how the adjuster is placed, where the springs go etc. If anyone has a picture, or knows of a site to get a good picture I would greatly appreciate it. I called Chiltons and Haynes) and they told me they do not have a manual for 1969 RR? thanks Wild Bill.

Here is a picture of a 73 Duster 340 car with an 8.75 rear. Yours should be very similar if not identical. Hope this helps.

71airgrabber Road Runner thank you so much for the picture. this will help tremendiously! I installed the front auto adjusters after work yesterday. this will help me with the back brakes. Thank you again!

make sure you get the left and right star wheels put on the correct side, otherwise every time you step on the brake, you will loosen the shoe to drum clearance
