My very close friend and the man who has prepared most of
my cylinder heads for all my race cars has been
sadly forced to close his shop due to Health challenges!

Here is a trailer load of his selected Mopar heads that he
has collected to prepare as ordered by racers.

All have been Hot Tanked/Magged and inspected and then
stored in shop on racks since the last century.

They include:
915 Both Big and Small block
906 big Block/and other numbers
586/596/302/308 and other numbers
Many other numbers as well
These are some of the best core heads that
I have seen since the 1970's

ALSO ONE RARE MAX WEDGE 1962/1963 "286" head = $750.00

Numerous Factory HP 4 BRL Intakes

There are also three Standard Blocks
They have all been Acid Wash/Hot Tanked/Sonic
Tested (Good) and are all standard:
440 SOLD
413 Hard to Find Industrial/Motorhome Block
383 SOLD
Your Choice for $350.00
Again, free delivery So Cal or So Nevada
Prohibitively expensive to ship.

All sets are $150. a Pair.
Single heads $85.
Will deliver in So Cal.

I will pack any heads but to back East from Nevada would
not be worth it to you as it would be as much as $100 PER HEAD so not
likely to make sense unless you really need a particular number.

One of the worst things about getting elderly is having to say Good Bye
to your friends.

John,
Do you have any 915 "J" heads for a 340 w/2.02 intakes?
Scot

Yes.
Several low mileage sets of "J" 2.02 (915) that
have not been run on unleaded gas and valve seats
are high and not sunk. No discernable core shift or damage.
Hot Tanked/Magged/Pressure Checked and no modifications.
Ready to build.
Also some rare (915) "O" and "U" 2.02 that some cylinder head
specialists prefer.
He discarded the stock springs and valves on most of the heads as they
are not something he would ever use for Stock or Superstock racing.
When I go down next week, I will see if he has a barrel of stock valves and
springs or if they went to the dump years ago.

John,
I am interested in the 383 block if still available. I live in your area so pick up or delivery should be no problem.
What year is it?
Thanks, Dan

what does "bump" mean? All sold? If not, will any of these heads help my 78 400, CR 8.25? Raise CR to near or above 10? Thanks.

Bump just moves ad up for Gold Members only.

The 906 flow the best and are about 5 ccs smaller than
than your late heads.

I could also set up a bunch of 440 heads
and look for some that have been milled to lower the CCs some more.

But your late 440 has a .120 negative deck as opposed to late 60s engines
that are about .30. You would be lucky to get near 9 to 1. Switching to
the 1968/69 pistons would be only way to get to 10 to 1 very easy combined
with 906 heads or aftermarket pistons.

Thanks! My car has a 400, not 440. Does your analysis still apply, to a 400?

Actually that is better as a 400 is only about 070 down instead of
130 so it would be easier to get the compression up some.

Thanks GTX. To further illustrate my ignorance...so... swapping the heads, same pistons, could raise the CR towards 10 or more? And which number heads would fit my 400?

The 906 heads flow substantially much better on our flow bench thann
your current heads. They have less CCs as cast.
On your question with a steel shim gasket you could get in the 9 something
range particularly if I find a set that has been milled some or if you mill them
some after receiving them.

I will include Valves and Springs @ that price.

Thanks again! I would like the set of 906 heads for my "78 400, with valves and springs. My son lives in Redondo Beach. Next time I visit him I can pick up the heads from you. Payment details?

You still have multiple sets of small block heads for 2.02" valves? Bare, good cores?

Yes Sir. I have several sets of 915 J heads (70/71 340 Engine take offs) at least
so far. $150. The X heads (68/69 340 Engine take offs) Would be a Lot
more than to $150 pair.

I am not aware of any other part # head that came with factory 2.02 Valves.

There are a couple other strange # 2.02 in the assortment, but I do not know if
they came 1.88s or 2.02s or were added later.
